She believes in empowering her customers through education, outreach, conversation and meaningful connection. She loves the immediate intimacy The Great Vine creates to inspire and facilitate healing. Catherine is the host of Food For Thought, a radio show which provides insightful musings on food as medicine on 88.7 The Bay FM and livestreams on facebook every Friday at 11:30 am eastern time on a variety of wellness topics. Kenneth Cole spends his life in the act of creation. As a born and bred entrepreneur he wears many hats: co owner of The Great Vine, businessman, theatrical producer, improviser par excellence,. radio host of George's Spaghetti House Jazz on 88.7 The Bay FM, patron of the arts, poet, animal lover, foodie and outdoor enthusiast. Kenneth shares his passion for living everyday and is a proud member of the downtown Huntsville small business community. Kenneth provides The Great Vine with unstoppable energy, a grand sense of humour, business acumen and support support support.
Lynda Starbuck is first and foremost an animal lover. She brings to The Great Vine decades of experience working both as a dog breeder, dog show judge and horse woman. Lynda's experience in the animal world and her passion for healthy living translate into a desire to make holistic health care accessible to everyone, both two and four footed. . She is constantly learning and sharing her knowledge with her community. She is the resident animal question expert and continuously expands The Great Vine's line of natural pet care products that include homeopathic remedies, aromatherapy, herbs and nutritional supplements. Lynda’s goal at The Great Vine is to remove the stigma around health food stores and to educate people on their importance in society.
Sarah Downes is a passionate advocate and educator in the area of food, nutrition and healthy living. She is a certified Culinary Nutrition Expert and the creator of Living Santosha, her business which focuses on health food consultation, special diet planning, yoga, catering and cooking classes. She specializes in plant based and gluten free cooking and baking. Sarah's daily baked goods are sought after delights at The Great Vine. With a background in special education and psychology Sarah is innately curious, compassionate and an organizer extraordinaire.
Nicole Phippen is the granite foundation of The Great Vine. She is a trusted resource, working side by side with Catherine and Kenneth for over 25 years. Nicole is a certified Holistic Nutritionist, a graduate of both the Edison Institute and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She is also a registered chair massage practitioner and the co-owner of Feelbetter Natural Health, a personal fitness gym she operates with her partner in Gravenhurst. Nicole’s specialty within the industry lies with herbal remedies, supplements, sports nutrition and dietary management. She loves working at The Great Vine because learning is constant and it provides the opportunity to connect with community and make a positive impact on people's lives.
